oneTwo5four7 (2019)

The Green Room, War Memorial Building, San Francisco

oneTwo5four7 was premiered in early 2019 as a work in progress at the Green Room in the War Memorial Building of San Francisco. It was presented by RAWdance for their Concept Series. oneTwo5four7 explores the intersection of vulnerability and resiliency through pattern, place, and adaptation.

The creative process for oneTwo5four7 took place between late 2018 and early 2019, at the same that patterns of sexual harassment of women by high powered men, were being revealed and listened to. Some of our inspiration in the creation of this work came from the stand-up routines of Comedian, Tig Notaro, who had recently spoken out on rumors of sexual harassment by fellow comedian Louis C.K.
