Phoenicia Pettyjohn (She/Her) is a longtime SF resident, movement artist, educator and certified Axis Syllabus teacher. She currently teaches in the San Francisco Ballet DISC program. Performance collaborators include Christy Funsch Dance, Catherine Galasso, Aura Fischbech, Miriam Wolordowski Sense Object, Rosemary Hannon, Susan Rethorst, Kira Kirsch and Honey McMoney among others. She has also appeared in the works of Maguy Marin, David Dorfman, Neta Pulvermacher and Sara Shelton Mann. She is a longtime collaborator with Christy Funsch Dance Experience recently appearing in her 12 hour piece Epoch at ODC Theater. She received an Izzy in 2018 for her work in Catherine Galasso's Alone Together.
